How we check things
This page exists so you can judge the rest of the site. It states the method, the sources, and the things we do not know, which is the part most affiliate sites leave out.
The five checks, in order of weight
- Withdrawal terms readable before registering. Minimum, maximum per request, monthly cap and fees, all public. A site that hides this section has answered the question, and it is not scored further.
- A payment route that can pay out. At least one route that both funds an account and receives a payout, named clearly on the payments page rather than implied by a logo.
- Limit and exclusion controls. Deposit and loss limits in account settings, without a support request, with decreases applying immediately.
- Offer terms clarity. Wagering multiple and its basis, game weighting, maximum cashout and maximum stake, in one place.
- Support answering a direct question. One plain question about verification, answered in plain words rather than with a bonus pitch.
What we never publish
Deposit routes, cashout timings, verification steps, wagering multiples, maximum cashouts, licence numbers and limits for named operators. All of those are operator settings that vary by country and campaign and change without notice. We send readers to the cashier, which is the live document.
For the two partners we state only what the partner feed supplies: the offer wording, the rating and the review count, each labelled as partner-reported. Review counts are easy to inflate and hard to audit externally, so the label does more work than the number.
What we have not tested
- Payout speed. We have not measured it, and we do not publish a figure in its place.
- Support response times.
- The verification process, from the inside.
- Deposits and withdrawals with our own money.
Where a page is silent on one of these, the silence is deliberate. It means we do not know.
Red flags we treat as disqualifying
Any one of these keeps a site off our pages regardless of what the commission would have been. All four are visible before a deposit and none needs expertise to spot.
- Withdrawal terms unavailable until after registration.
- A maximum cashout on an offer stated nowhere, or in a separate document.
- Manufactured urgency: countdown timers that reset on reload, invented player activity, fake stock.
- Support that refuses a direct question about verification or fees.
Where our numbers come from
Search volumes and keyword difficulty figures quoted on this site come from Ahrefs for the Australian market, measured in October 2026. They describe what people search for, not what we offer. Where a query contains a dollar figure, that figure is the searcher's hope rather than a claim of ours.
Legal and regulatory statements come from the statutes and the regulators themselves: the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, ACMA, BetStop and the state bodies. Payment mechanics come from the banks and the payment providers.
How this page gets wrong
Terms change, offers are retired, and operators move domains. The date at the foot of each page is when its figures were last confirmed. If something here disagrees with a live cashier, the cashier is right.
Corrections are welcome at editor@pokiesharbour.com. We fix the page and leave the date visible so the change can be seen.
The disclosure, once more
This is an affiliate site. It earns commission when a reader signs up with a partner, and it says so on every page. Everything above exists so that a reader who knows that can still get something useful out of it.
