What we can help with
- A correction: something on a page is factually wrong or out of date.
- A question about how a mechanism works — PayID, wagering, a withdrawal queue.
- Which of our pages covers a particular problem, if the menu is not obvious.
- Press, partnership and advertising enquiries.
What we cannot help with
We are not an operator and we have no access to anyone's gambling account. That rules out a specific list of things, and sending them to us only delays an answer.
- Your balance, a pending withdrawal or a bonus on your account. Only the operator can see those. Ask its support what specifically is outstanding on the request.
- A sign-in problem. The usual causes are on the login page; the rest needs the operator, from your registered email address.
- A declined payment. A decline is almost always your bank's decision, and the bank is the only party that can explain it.
- Self-exclusion. We cannot exclude you from anything. BetStop covers every licensed Australian operator at once, and it is free.
- Legal or tax advice. We describe statutes; we are not lawyers or accountants.
Where a complaint actually goes
To the licensing authority named in the operator's own terms, because that is the only body with leverage over it. For an online service offered to Australians, ACMA administers the online provisions of the Interactive Gambling Act. For a licensed local operator or venue, it is the relevant state or territory regulator. The legality page sets out who covers what.
If you want help rather than information
Gambling Help Online is free, staffed by counsellors and open at any hour, by chat, phone or email. You do not have to describe yourself as having a problem before they will talk to you. Help and limits lists the services and the tools in one place.
Security note
Do not send us passwords, card numbers, document scans or account credentials. We have no use for them, we do not want them, and no legitimate operator will ask for a password either.
